Egg-Chasing Time

Hmmm...
'THE cream of top European and English soccer clubs could be playing on the hallowed turf of Limerick’s revamped Thomond Park next year. Management at the stadium confirmed they are in negotiations to host exhibition games featuring the “best of the best” from the Barclays Premier League and the First Division of the La Liga Spanish League.'

So far, so good...
'Top brass at the home of Munster Rugby hope to wrap up the deals before Christmas as they aim to make Thomond Park one of the most famous stadiums in the world.'

I'll be nice and suppose that ambition is a good thing...
'If given the go-ahead, the soccer fixtures will be played when the rugby season is over, to keep the pitch at Thomond Park in perfect condition for Munster rugby. "The pitch here is sacrosanct for Munster rugby".'

Dear God, my bullshitometer has just exploded...
