In God's Country

I'm going to the States today (Connecticut) on a business trip for three days. Non-stop meetings, which is going to wreck my head (I usually start shifting uncomfortably in my seat within 15 minutes of a meeting starting, so how I'm going to handle three ten-hour days of meetings I don't know. There's a good chance I'll be transferred there for the last three months of the year. It's a "challenge" and an "opportunity" and all the rest of that guff - i.e. I'll be expected to go over and work my hole off. Still it'll be a change, though I'm not sure if Connecticut in winter is much to look forward to...
